If you are a potato grower in the Province of Alberta who grows 5 acres or more of potatoes, you must be licensed by the Potato Growers of Alberta.
This is an annual license with a fee of $50.00.

Others who must be licensed by the PGA are anyone who buys or sells potatoes in the province of Alberta. The PGA also licenses packers/dealers and processors in the province.

Industry may also become members of the PGA through an Industry Associate Membership for small annual fee.
